BSHF is one of the partners in the Powerhouse nearly Zero Energy Challenge, a three-year project funded by the EU’s Intelligent Energy Programme.

This report highlights the discussions and outcomes from a conference and study visit held in Barcelona, Spain in February 2014 as part of the Power House nearly Zero Energy Challenge.

The report concludes with some recommendations for social housing providers in warm/Mediterranean climates in order for them to take advantage of the finance opportunities in energy efficiency offered by the EU and other schemes available in their countries.
