Building a More Sustainable Future

BSHF has carried out a range of collaborative research activities that focus on building sustainable futures. These have included:

Current activities include:

  • BSHF is currently undertaking a research project to look at the long term impact of post-disaster reconstruction on people’s livelihoods and resilience - more
  • BSHF is a partner in the EU-funded Nearly Zero Energy Challenge, following on from the Power House Europe project, which identified and shared environmentally sustainable housing practice among social housing providers in Europe - more

Community-led housing case studies

These case studies, featuring a cross-section of projects from across the UK, were produced by Social Regeneration Consultants. They demonstrate real life stories, key messages and positive outcomes.

Supporting the National CLT conference

The UK’s national CLT conference takes place at The Abbey Centre in London on 28 January and has been organised by the CLT Network. BSHF will be attending and involved at the conference.
